About the Author

     My name is Farrell, and I am an aspiring student studying cyber and data security. Throughout my years of study, I have been able to use technology to effectively create and document my research and studies. From researching essays to making presentations and even writing short stories, I have familiarized myself with computer systems and applications to forward my knowledge and skills in many disciplines but now more than ever the field of cyber security. I decided to study cyber security when I a family member showed me how wide a range of applications the field has and also how narrow of a scope you can work in and still be learning everyday while you work. I desire to complete my Bachelors degree and possibly a Masters. I plan to gain the position of Cuber security officer or analyst and eventually Senior officer as I mature in my career. The insight I have to give is of the intense process that the field contains of change. The internet has only been around for a few decades and the industry is immensely different from where it was ten or even five years ago. Growing up with tech, I took it for granted but as an adult I can see how we can use tech in many aspects of our lives without allowing it to take over everything we control. Moderation is key!
